Re: Dialogue longer than 20 minutes?
I hesitate to do anything in Muvizu longer than 20 seconds! I can't even imagine how long it would take to even render. Think of Muvizu as a 'small chunk' program and assemble everything in a video editor, you'll thank yourself.

Space environment
Hi All, I'm trying to find a 'lost planet' set, there used to be a Mars one, but it wouldn't open. Any ideas?

Re: Making a 'shadow' layer
I use Vegas Pro which DOES allow one to import image sequences, figuring out how many images per second is tough, it's not 24. Regardless, I won't be using image sequences, except in very special circumstances, due to the size of the files and the time involved in rendering them. I guess I could inc...

Re: Making a 'shadow' layer
I tried that and I get 1 file only. The only render option that generates shadow folders is 'Image sequence' which is my very last choice. It just takes too much time to re-render all those frames for the kind of stuff I'm doing now. I've come up with a work-around in my video editor using a garbage...

Re: Making a 'shadow' layer
Okay, so I open the Edit menu in the Layers tab, I select 'Separate shadows', now how do I make a layer with just the shadow of the object? If I toggle the objects visibility, the shadow vanishes too. Toggling the 'Rendered' field doesn't seem to do anything, 'Show invisible layers' just makes the c...

Making a 'shadow' layer
Hi y'all, I have a device floating in the air and characters are standing on it. (The shadows of the characters are darker than the shadow of the object for some reason.) I've gone to the 'Layers' menu where all the objects in the scene are listed on the 'Background' layer. I click the 'New' button ...

Re: Making characters fly
Thanks. I've figured out another way too, you might even have shown me this. I made a ground plane, made it float in the air, set up my characters and bikes on it, then made it invisible. I then just set up my light to cast the shadows where I want.

Re: Using Photos and Video witgh Muvizu.
Using other media, photos, video, takes Muvizu to a whole new level. The only problem I have is the maximum image size (1024x1024) - if you're wanting to do a large detailed wall, like an art museum, you're out of luck. However, I have had good results using the textures from an older video game.
