Re: Seeing in the dark - new movie

Another superbly produced movie Ike, with that gripping dark atmosphere, very well done. Time to have a look at this Twinmotion. It looks to fit very well with muvizu.

Re: How to transfer props etc

The fact is that muvizu has acquired some notable new features ( layering and key framing) but basically it hasnt really changed that much. If by props you mean 3D models ( in .ase, .obj, or .fbx format) that you either created or downloaded back then, they should all happily import into the newer v...

Re: Tie

I find using decals for ties and suits is fine and so much easier than making an attachment. I have added a couple of examples. Making decals is explained in my tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FiwH1r6b9r4

Re: Purchasing Key framing expansion pack

Loads of us continue to use muvizu as it is. Once you have it, it continues to work OK (as long as you take certain measures if you change your computer). If you mean has muvizu finished developing? I am afraid the answer is probably yes. The chinese company that bought Digimania for a song, are not...

Re: Serious question: Is it worth getting started with Muvizu?

This site and the Zuchat Facebook group was set up and run by a bunch of us Muvizu enthusiasts around the time that Digimania folded. No surprise then that some of us love it and continue to use it to make movies. In comparison to its rivals, Muvizu is now rather old-fashioned and limited in its ran...

Re: Importing Video

My advice is get the hang of a compositing program like Hit Film Express ( or After Effects) and you never need to bother with importing video into muvizu again. You produce your muvizu footage in layers and then add video clips in any shape to any part of your movie and export it as a final movie. ...

Re: Geoff Clarkson ase files bug

If you download something and you get an html file its probably because you have downloaded the link rather the the actual file. To download from that particular list you have to double click on the filename and then choose Save As. Having said that I realise now that that collection is a real rag b...

Re: Returning user trying to recover program

Hi, I am afraid an awful lot has happened with muvizu since 2015. The original company Digimania has been sold to a small Chinese outfit who only seem interested in selling to the Asian market, and not very interested in supporting existing customers from Digimania. That being said, that original in...

Re: FBX Import Error

I always use Blender to export models as .fbx for use in muvizu, and it works most of the time. I hope the latest version of Blender will work the same .
