I followed the "installing on a new pc" thread - that would make the maximium number of permitted installations times 1

That's very interesting - it seems the old licencing system is back up and running. The W2 error you are having is on their end, so you will need to contact them asking to have your licence reset.

As of yesterday, it appears that all previous licences are working again.


A reminder of what the error codes mean:
E2 = You need to run Muvizu as an administrator.
W2 = You've used all your licence attempts so need to contact Meshmellow asking for them to extend your licence. snow.tu@meshemellow.cn
W3 = Unspecified error with the licencing servers, try again later maybe.
W4 = Muvizu can't connect to the licencing server, check your internet connection.

I have emailed snow 3 times now explaining that my pc died and I have included licence and reference and error but I have only been sent links that don't work and a paypal address - I have had no reply from my third email, I have tried every other suggestion on this thread. I will purchase the software again if I have to but has any one bought from this company yet -

What error code are you getting?
Meshmellow aren't being all that helpful. This is their default copy-paste response to all these queries. If you want to buy their version, other users have had success. It is an unusual method of payment and download etc but they're a very unusual company...
As for the links, it might be worth sending back a screenshot of the 404 page to make sure they realise what's going on. The language barrier is quite a problem.

Previously, they have been using the January 2017 version with a modified activation tool. The latest version released by Digimania was March 2017. These new links have the date of April 2017 which is unusual.

still getting W2 - you have activated the maximium number of times (as above)
I have only ever activated muvizu once, 10 times would be nice

Even failed attempts will count against this number. Once you have W2, there's no way for you to fix it. One user in Zuchat has the exact same problem and Meshmellow aren't co-operating. Looks like your only option here is to buy a new licence. :/
